22843 N. Campbell Ave. Tucson AZ 85719
Tel: 520-320-1070

Value $65
Silver Llama purveys authentic Peruvian folk arts and crafts: rugs, tapestries, ceramics, alpaca sweaters and more. Tom Findley, owner, is passionate about Peru and actively supports his artists, ensuring they receive fair value for their work, and serving as patron to many. Just walking into his shop brings you into Peru!

This large ceramic piece is from the village of Chulucanas in northern Peru, near Pair. It's brilliant finish comes from a traditional firing process that uses mango seeds as fuel. Unlike other Peruvian ceramics, designs for Chulucanas pottery are usually modern and abstract. The artist has signed each piece.
